  • Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

CSFP provides a monthly 40 lb. box of food to those throughout the county age 60+ who meet low income eligibility guidelines. Distribution:

  • Lucerne: Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, 3895 Country Club Ave. and 10th (9:30 – 10:45 a.m.)
  • Lakeport: Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1111 Park Way (11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

Documentation of emergency may be required for assistance received more than once. Emergency is considered something that happened this month; did not happen last month; is not expected to happen again; and caused a reduction in income available to pay living expenses.

Nutrition assistance program that helps low-income people buy nutritious food. Eligibility: Meet limited resources and limited income guidelines; higher resource and income limits afforded those age 60+ or younger disabled. Those receiving SSI/SSP are not eligible, but those receiving SSI and not SSP may be eligible. Call or visit office for application. You may receive assistance in applying for Food Stamps at Lake County Community Action Agency's Clearlake office (995-0495).
