Provides recovery-oriented care including crisis resolution, assessment, counseling, and access to hospital and residential services for adults experiencing serious mental illness and children with emotional disturbance. Also provides alcohol and other drug counseling and prevention services for adults and youth. ·     Older Adult System of Care (OASOC)

In addition to offering the full spectrum of on-site services available through the Lake County Behavioral Health offices in Lucerne and Clearlake, OASOC offers home-based mental health therapy and case management services to homebound seniors. Eligibility: Age 60+, experiencing serious mental illness or emotional disturbance. Serves primarily those on Medi-Cal, Medicare or indigent, but all are eligible to request services to determine eligibility.

Senior Peer Counseling
Home visits by senior volunteers who receive training and supervision from a licensed clinician. Peer counselors provide the client with an opportunity to talk to someone their age who has experienced similar life changes and can understand their concerns.
